We ate a real dinner of chicken, salad, veg. (broccoli.) Surely an improvement over the rhubarb pie/Jack in the Box "sliders/"candy for dessert type thing of the last week or two.
3 C's:
Cleaned and Cleared: Stuff for the blind to collect.
Sugar Free Sweet Thing:
A mama, or possibly papa, junco feeding baby junco right on the lawn where the seeds fall from the feeder. So brave and clueless.

Food Fight:
Intended to attend the local farmer's market season kickoff, but succumbed to a nap instead. Result of sugar withdrawal and a warmish day?
3C's:
Perk: The blind collected. We are a goldmine for them on the days I remember to put stuff out, as promised. They continue to call us, in spite of frequent failures to follow through on my part, perh. 'cause my stuff is quite special when it actually does appear on the doorstep.
Today's C: Create. Pics of my increasingly rare herbs: comfrey and angelica.

Frozen raspberries with cream and sugar free syrup smooshed into decadent sorbet.

Web cam of peregrine falcon chicks-14 stories up, Boise: a link from Punk.
Also, watched the wind roll in mightily from the west while "kickin' it" in the addies. Beautiful sunset too; all on view from our backyard "al fresco" theater.
